===Tape Drive Setup on XCT cluster===
Both the old and new tape drives are connected to SC3309 (XCT1) and powered on. You do not need to power off one to use another.


New tape in new drive <--> microct, xtremect2, xt2recalib, calib3401, calib3309

:*The 'new' Ultrium 3000 tape drive is for the new tapes and the default tape drive for all other accounts (microct, xtremect2, xt2recalib, calib3309, calib3401). 
:*Use the following command to use the old SDLT tape drive no matter which account on the command line:
<pre>
$ uct_backup_sdlt
</pre>

Old tape in old drive <-->  xt1recalib  

:*The 'old' SDLT tape drive is for the old tapes. You have to log into the default xt1recalib account to recognize this tape drive. 
:*Restoring from old tapes in xt1recalib account will restore your data to DISK6:[MICROCT.DATA]. 
:*By default, xt1recalib account can only see old tape drive, not the new tape drive.
:*Use the following command to use the new tape drive no matter which account on the command line:
<pre>
$ uct_backup_sas
</pre>

*With either of the above commands, you must not "submit" the tape usage jobs to the queue (i.e., cannot run a batch backup from a script), but only run them interactively in the 
software. Any job in the queue will use the default tape drive again.
