====Check status of disk array==== To look at the disks in an MSA30 tower: There are several options to check the status of the disks. One is, if it is installed, to use the command-line utility
$ mcr msa$util
as "system". Enter
MSA> set controller MSA> show unit MSA> show disks MSA> exit
Another is to start the WBEM web interface, which shows the status of the hardware graphically. It is possible to fix a disk array that hasn't booted by doing the following: At the login prompt, type 'shutdown'. This will get you to the
>>>
prompt. There should be a RAID card, for example on Percy, named
pya0
. Try: >>> show device >>> set auto_action halt >>> init >>> run bios pya0 >>> set auto_action restart >>> boot Return to Contents or Return to Main Page
