| | A filter object that calculates DT on points or cells in an unstructured grid. The surface cells or points are labelled 0, and the label increments by 1 for every additional depth. The intention of this filter is to be able to extract either point data or cell data that lies a certain depth from the surface.

| | Takes a vtkPolyData or vtkvtkUnstructuredGrid data set and smooths the surface or volume by moving the nodes. The topology of the data set is not affected. The algorithm is that of Taubin G (1995), "A signal processing approach to fair surface design". Computer Graphics, pp. 351-358 (Proceedings SIGGRAPH '95). The smoothing of the surface is done in two steps. First the data is smoothed by Gaussian filtration (lambda), and then the shrinking effect of the Gaussian filtration is counter-acted by the second step (mu).
