== Tools == To access the following tools, simply click βToolsβ in the top bar of the Scanco Application Center. Return to Contents or Return to Main Page === File Browser === The file browser tool allows you to view all the files stored on the Scanco Server. It works similarly to the File Explorer from Windows. There are 4 main tabs: Measurements, Projects, Files and Mappings. To open, edit or view file properties, simply right-click over the name of the file. For image files, you can select to open them in either the Visualizer or the Ray Tracer programs. The application lists the dates created/modified, file size and the file's virtual and physical locations on the Scanco Server. ==== Measurements ==== This tab is where you can find all the files related to a specific measurement/sample. ISQ, RSQ, RAD, AIM, GOBJ and sample-specific script results can all be found here. You are able to filter by name in the
Filter
text-box, as well as by Scan Group using the
Samples
drop-down box. ==== Projects ==== This tab displays the other files in the system, associated by project (scanner) and user (bonelab/BH). See Data Storage and Management for more details on this structure. Script files, script result/log files and scout views can all be found here. ==== Mappings ==== This tab displays the virtual-physical path mappings from the workstations to the Scanco Server. You can enter a virtual path into the
Virtual Path
text box to search for its associated physical path. All of the files origin is from the Scanco Server. The physical path relates to their location on that server. Their virtual path is the access point that the workstations use to retrieve those files remotely from the server. When running scripts and when logged into the Scanco Server directly, it is best to use the physical path. If accessing the files remotely from a workstation, the virtual path should be used. ==== Files ==== This tab works the most similarly to Windows File Explorer. It allows you to traverse the file system to search for essentially any file you would like to find. Return to Contents or Return to Main Page === Job Queue === The Job Queue tool allows you to keep track of running Jobs (generally scripts you have run). Any task run from the Evaluation application will have an associated listed job in the queue. Images evaluated from a scan or scheduled scans will also have a job in the task list. This entry tells you its status (Running, Successful, Aborted, Failed), its job number and the type of job (IPL script, GPU evaluation, batch scan... etc). To see the job's associated log, you can right-click on its name in the queue list. The job queue can also be viewed from the Evaluation application under
Tasks -> History -> Job Queue
You are able to filter the job list by any of its information: description, status, type... etc. === Console === The console tool is a shortcut to access the computer's command-line. From here, you can run command-line scripts. When working directly on the Scanco Server, you are able to use the
ipl
command to run IPL as well as run IPL scripts.
