=== Creating a Scan Group ===
To create a scan group, click <code>Groups -> Scan Groups…</code> from the [[Scanco_User_Instructions#Sample_Registration|Sample Registration]] application or the [[Scanco_User_Instructions#Evaluation_2|Evaluation]] application.

You will see a list of existing scan groups populate. In the text box at the bottom, choose a unique (different from any in previous groups) code and name for your scan group. Click ‘Add’ to register it to the current selected [[Scanco_User_Instructions#Projects|project]].

To hide or show a scan group in filter options in any Windows Scanco [[Scanco_User_Instructions#Applications_2|applications]], select the scan group from the list by clicking it. Then, click ‘Hide’ or ‘Unhide’. If the scan group is currently hidden from the applications, it will be marked with ‘Hidden’ in the list of scan groups.
