To edit the samples that a scan group includes, navigate to <code>Groups -> Scan Group Members…</code> from the [[Scanco_User_Instructions#Sample_Registration|Sample Registration]] application or the [[Scanco_User_Instructions#Evaluation_2|Evaluation]] application.

From here you will see two side-by side windows listing sample names. The left window will be your 'source' samples and the right window will be your 'destination' samples. In the left (source) window, fill the <code>From</code> drop-down to contain the group you would like to take samples from. This is likely the 'All' group, which includes all the samples in the selected project.

In the right window, fill the <code>To</code> drop-down with the scan group you would like to add samples to.

To actually add samples to your selected groups, simply select them in the left pane, then click <code>Add to</code>. 

To select more than one sample at a time, hold <code>Ctrl</code> and click them with your mouse. To select many adjacent samples, hold <code>Shift</code> and click the first then the last sample of the adjacent ones you would like to select.

To narrow-down the sample selection, you can filter samples by name by typing in the <code>Filter</code> text box.

Note: samples in the left window are not removed from that group when added to the right window. They are only removed from a scan group when following the removal procedure outlined below.

To remove a sample from a scan group, simply fill the <code>To</code> drop-down with the desired group. Then, select the desired sample(s) to remove, and click <code>Remove From...</code> to remove them from the group.
