==== Remote Desktop from Mac ====

1. Install ‘Windows App’ from the mac App Store: [https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/windows-app/id1295203466?mt=12| here]

2. Open the Windows App. Click the ‘+’ button in the top right corner

3. Click ‘Add PC’

4. Under ‘PC Name’ add the IP for the workstation you would like to remote to

5. Under ‘Credentials’ you can select ‘Add Credentials’ if you would like to save the account name and password so you don’t have to enter it every time you connect

6. Add the user name and password (ie scanco_user)

You can play around with other settings for the connection but the likely most important is <code>“Devices & Audio” > clipboard mode > bidirectional</code>, if you want to be able to copy and paste text/files between both remote and local.
